My bangkok trip(21 june-25 june)

Bangkok City!!!-also a view from me and my bro punya room

(room 903)

That morning,

The taxi arrived about 6 am at my house feel damn sleepy, tried to sleep in taxi but the crazy taxi driver simply drive bang here, bang there(serious,we got to do somethin about this). When we arrive at the airport(LCCT)go put the bags, walk around do nothin cuz there's still like one and 1 hour before the flight.I like damn long never sit airplane so like a bit nervous about it(by the way,i took AirAsia but still quite nice)

AfterLanding,we took a taxi to our hotel(Amari Atrium Hotel)
I and my family checked in into the hotel which is 5 star(damn nice) Here's a few pic from the hotel lobby

-panaromic view from below-

Then we go to a shop nearby and eat some of their local food which is a lot like our chinese food but with something unique-fish sauce!!!Actually we just ordered a normal kuey teow soup but their keuy teow seriously big kinda like the size of ur average ruler. But the worst thing is the language barriers that we face. Learning Thai 101-
hello in Thai:
sawadeeKAH(for girls)
sawadeeKAP(for guys)

Later,We went to the Erawan Shrine, where we pray and respect for brahma statue, but got a lot of people over there so if u go try not to get burn by the candles and joystick people carry around(really hurts).Note:praying it clockwise is for normal praying, but praying it anti-clockwise is praying ancestors,so please take note.

-Erawan Shrine-

and watever u do dont ever in anyway touch their head,it extremely important to them...plus they respect their king a lot,you can see a lot of their king's picture evrywhere. At night,my dad's friend which is Thai invited us to eat dinner, and because we couldn't all fit in his car, only my grandma and my aunt sat the car and took like some "TutTut"car or something(actually its just the back of pickup truck with roof at the back(where we sat)

Below-from left:me(lookin a bit noob) and my bro

Then next day we went to the Chatuchak Market(a weekend market)where we buy tons of souvenir. That place is said to have about 10,000 stalls, wish I could buy more stuff but we had to go back early cuz we were goin to have dinner on a cruise ship.

After getting ready about 5pm the van came and fetch us to port, while waiting for the ship which is 6pm we went about finding for "UNIQUE" food, then we came about to the most unusual stall most people never seen in their life-one that sells Insect(cooked) and prawns(raw,im not sure why)see picture below

So colourful!!!but too bad it dont taste as good

i think its bee and cricket

Weird bug and Wood worm

I think its grasshopper

Ants

We bought the ants and the wood worms, ants got like red ants, black ants and some leafcutters in some serai leaf and spring onion-not bad.but i like the wood worms better, sprinkle with salt and its quite crispy(its like keropok but better). But before they give, they spray some liquid on it,my bro kept teasing my sis that it was shieldtox so that they really die even though we know it was vinegar. Here's a picture of me eating a worm.

i seriously ate it not just for show(and mind the pimples)

It was time to board the ship but we got a few shots of the port before boarding(later only show). The ship was quite nice, food wasn't so but an unforgetable experience cruising along the ChaoPraya River. There was cultural dances and music, and im still bothered by the way they bend their finger(a bit scary though).

-The veiw from the port-

Once we got back to our hotel,we were there as tired like hell and get ready for the next day.
Nextday,we got up by 5:30 am(their time)eat breakfast then wait for the tour guide to bring us to the destination,The one and only floating market. But its kinda disappointing cuz everytme we see it on Tv it has like a million stuff over there, but we went there and it was kinda empty...=(

Me and my bro looking in the sun

Houses along river to the floating market

NOT so jam

Very jam

After that we went to elephant village kinda boring cuz all the elephant was like slow and big size, then we went to the handicraft centre(more boring)but the artwork damn nice, all hand made.something like this one here(pic)

We went to watch the elephant show next,it was quite exciting and interesting. Those elephants are more acrobatic than us.

-Elephants staking on top of another-

Next the crocodile show, this was damn dangerous cuz the person put their HANDS and HEAD in to the crocodile's mouth. And the crocodile was damn scary cuz it made like a POP sound when it closes its mouth

-One of the crazy guy who risk his life-

Here is a short video of it too:

Afterwards,we went to the Rose Garden to see some cultural perfomances but my grandmother fell on the way to amphitheatre and cracked her shoulder bone so we didn't get to see the show....and instead we have to go to Bangkok International Hospital, that hospital was better than a hotel, seriously. So the next day without my grandmother and my aunt cuz she decided to take care of grandma,I and my family went to MaBoonKong shopping centre cuz my sister said that she didn't have enough shopping. We shopped the whole day there, plus u can see a lot of high school students there.(some girls there are quite pretty)=P

Later for our dinner we went to supposingly famous Thai restaurant,Taling Pling, the food there was great, nice setup and everything. Here are some pics of the food we ate. They even have lemongrass juice, yes lemongrass juice believe it or not its quite nice but a bit spicy minty kinda taste.

Lemongrass Juice

My Dinner

Forgotten wat it is but i remember
it has rice crispys,quite nice

Mango with sticky rice

The next day we head back to good old Malaysia with my grandmother's injured arm, everyone kinda suprise that she got injured, but its her fault too,my aunt wanted to hold her hands but she didn't want to,who call her so stubborn, but anyway theres nothin I can do,now she will be staying in my house for a least another month.I so kesian have to sleep on the mattress(back pain)anyway the next day i continue school like normal, kinda glad to be back at school(at that time lar,now not so)And thats all with my Bangkok Trip...
