Never Let Go......Nevertheless

The heart aches and longs for you,
Each thought of you is an inch closer to death;
What we had I thought it was all true,
Until you turn your back on me and left.
Everyday I sink deeper into depression,
Waiting for my time to come;
Keeping in all those emotions,
Till my senses all went numb.
Just when I thought hope was lost,
A hand approached and held me tight;
"Dont worry , I'll hold you close",
Said the angel who gave me a chance to fight.
Those words echoed loudly in my mind,
As a single tear drop from eyes;
Came down my face in a single line,
Gone through my lips and dries.
What I felt next was a new discovery,
Something new yet familiar;
Like an old shirt back from the laundry,
The Old Me is back and without fear.
Its been so long since my last poem......This few months that I was gone was life changing for me....I found there was things i never knew existed......and was more than glad that I found it........what was that?
