Our meeting was short and simple,
I wouldn't even say it was proper;
But the importance of that was not little,
for it brought us just a bit closer.
I could feel in my heart a temporary pause;
Not saying that my feelings to you ever matters,
But I'm not very sure of the cause.
I have no idea what this could be,
nor what this could even mean;
maybe the problem lies with me,
or something that cannot be seen.
Ok, maybe I might have feelings for her,
And having the same feelings for me she may;
But I know we will never be sure,
For we have different paths and walked our own way.
And like a star only seen and can never arrive,
I'll be your guardian angel and keep you from harm;
Forever protecting you with all my life,
Till the day you come into my arms.
